The great blue yonder chapter2
In the second chapter, Harry and her sister’s relationship became clear. Before the accident(Harry was death because of the accident, he was hit by the lorry) Harry had a quarrel with her sister Eggy. Harry said that he don’t like his sister at all and Eggy said same thing to Harry. Then Harry said if he die you will notice how you love me and he leaf house. Lastly, Eggy said ok then you don’t have to come back, I will be very happy. Then after Harry left house he was hit by the lorry and dead. Harry was regretting this quarrel because his last word before he die became a abuse to his sister. Also it was about dead. He didn’t mean to die but he died so he can’do anything with this now. He thought that his sister is regretting too, so he wanted to meet her again, reconciles, but now he came to the “other side” the land of the death people and if someone die they can’t be alive again.
Arthur says that when people die first they come to the “other side” and then go to the “the great blue yonder”. Arthur didn’t go to the “great blue yonder” because he had an unfinished buisiness. He was trying to find her mother and he was searching her for 150years on the “other side”. When Harry and Arthur talked about this and while they are walking to find Arthur’s mother, Harry thought that he can’t go to the “great blue yonder” unless he could meet and reconcile with his sister.
In the end of chapter 2 Arthur tell a way to go back to the land of living. He says that they can go back but people on the land of the living can’t see or hear them. It means that they can go back but no one will notice them or they can’t tell anything to living people. When harry listened this story, at first he couldn’t have courage to go back, because if he go back, he can miss his family and friends strongly. He could confront to the unmovable fact. He hesitated to go at first but decided to go there at last. He thought that nothing will happen if he move.
In the chapter 2 a lot relationships between the characters became obvious. In the chapter 3 Harry will confront to a lot facts happening on the land of the living. It’s not only happy things. If I confront a same situation with Harry I think I will hesitate to go to the land of the living like Harry. I think if I go there I can’t come back to the “other side”. Also I think it’s very hard to see family and friends “living” and the fact that no one will notice my exisitance will heart me a lot.
